Originally from Costa Rica, Juan Ramirez is a co-founder and partner at Impact Delta, an impact investing and ESG consultancy. As a strategy and management consultant in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors he has advised business leaders in the US and South America with a focus on value creation and impact plans, growth strategies, and due diligence for leading corporations and organizations across multiple sectors and industries.
In 2018 he joined Bain & Company’s New York office where he served as Practice Director helping develop and implement growth strategies for its industry leading Private Equity advisory business in the Americas.
Prior to this experience he spent 3 years at The Bridgespan Group’s New York office leading teams developing strategies for some of the world’s leading philanthropic foundations and NGOs across different topical areas including youth & education, organ donation and international aid & services.
Juan began his consulting career as a consultant at Bain & Company’s South American offices in Sao Paulo, Brazil in 2007. As a Senior Manager at Bain until 2015 he led multiple projects to support business and investment decisions for a broad set of sophisticated clients in various industries such as Real Estate, Retail, Industrials, Energy, TMT and Agri-business, and across countries all over the region including Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru and Colombia.
Juan holds an undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering from the Universidad de Costa Rica and an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business where he graduated with distinction.
